SFLS Open Show 2024 – Judge: Adrian Bicknell

I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge at your very friendly Society and to all of those who entered under me. I had a wonderful day with some wonderful people and superb dogs to admire.

Puppy Dog

1. Allison Lahetyaby Joulukoriste by Oberitz. A well made young man with a lot to like. Well proportioned with lovely angles front and back. Correct head shape with correct eyes and well placed ears. Strong neck and shoulders and straight front. Correct rib and topline, strong loin and well set tail, well made rear with good muscle for age helped him move freely round the ring. BPD Res BPIS

Junior Dog

1. Crowhurst Lappviken Safiiri of Manu. Pleasing outline and well made. Good overall proportions with good bone and muscle. Correct head shape, strong neck and well laid shoulders, good front and forechest, good rib and topline. Well made rear with good muscle, moved out well.

Yearling Dog

1. Beaumont & Daley. Tabanyaruu Christie Niko. Good head shape with correct eye and ear. Strong in muzzle with correct bite. Good shoulders and front, forechest and good rib. Straight topline and good angle on the rear. Moved well.

Novice Dog

Limit Dog

1. Aristides-Pickard Sambreeze Mikki Bear Club. Lovely in profile and well proportioned. Covered the ground with ease and held his topline as he went. Good head shape with well placed ears and correct eyes. Good neck leading to well placed shoulders and straight front. Good forechest and rib, strong loin and well set tail. Well angled rear with good muscle.
2. Rutter Lapponnia Lunar Cosmos. Good overall proportions with good angles front and back, good overall muscle and bone. Well laid shoulders and good forechest, good spring of rib and strong topline and loin. Well set tail and well made rear. Moved well with good drive.
3. Thomas Elbereth Lapinpeikko.

Open Dog

1. Samuel Ch Oberitz Buoremus. Well proportioned in head and body, lovely profile on the stand and on the move. Balanced head with well placed ears and correct shaped eyes, strong jaw and correct bite. Correct neck with good muscle leading to well placed strong shoulders. Straight front, good forechest and well arched feet. Good rib and strong straight topline which was held on the move. Correct angles on the rear with good muscle, strong loin and well set tail. On the move he covers the ground with an easy effortless gait. Very well presented and handled. BD & BIS.
2. Lee Kaijartuu Ihmissusi JW. Well made with good bone and muscle. Good proportions and correct topline which was held on the move. Correct head type and well placed ears, strong neck and shoulders. Good front and forechest, good spring of rib and good loin. Well made rear with correct angles with good muscle. Moved well with good action. RBD
3. Allison Oberitz Kaamoksen Ruhtinas.

Special Veteran Dog (7-9 Yrs)

1. Jackson Ch Lecibsin Ukas to Elbereth (Imp Fin). Well balanced and sound with correct head shape and well set ears and eyes. Well layed shoulders with good muscle, strong straight front with good forechest. Good rib and topline, strong loin and correct tail set. Good turn of stifle and well muscled which gave him an easy action. BVD
2. Thomas Ch Elbereth Tuulenpoika JW. Good overall proportions and sound on the move. Good neck and shoulders, correct front with good spring of rib. Correct topline and strong rear action.

Special Vintage Dog (10+ years)

1. Lock Bridus Heikki. It’s always nice to see the any veteran of over 10 years in such good condition. Lovely head type with good eye and ear placement, strong jaw and correct bite. Good neck and shoulders with a good front with plenty of forechest. Strong topline and loin. Well made rear with correct angles and good muscle. Moved out well. RBVD

Puppy Bitch

1. Moore Samerajern’s Zaluda of Morval (Imp Swed). Wonderful young girl with so much to like. On the stand she has a lovely profile, balanced and well proportioned in body and head. Well placed ears and correct eyes, good jaw and correct bite. Good neck and shoulders with just the right amount of bone for her age and size. Strong topline which was held on the move, well angled straight rear. On the move she could go all day with an effortless movement. BPIS.
2. Lock Muzoku Black Opium. Nice head shape with good ears. Correct neck and shoulders, good forechest and rib. Good topline and well made rear. Moved out well.

Junior Bitch

1. Jackson CH Elbereth Unisieppari JW. A wonderful example of the breed, lovely profile and sound. Head shape is spot on with well placed ears and correct eyes to give a wonderful expression. Well made front with good forechest, well ribbed and strong topline. Well angle dear with plenty of muscle, she moves with ease with plenty of drive. RBB

1. Pelling Tabanyaruu Aurora Ahkera. Correct head type with good ears and eyes. Good neck leading to well laid shoulders, good front and nice feet. Good topline and well made rear. Moved out well.
2. Reynolds Elbereth Vain Yksi Lisaa. Good proportions and size. Good head and well laid shoulders, good front and forechest. Well angled rear with good muscle. Moved well.
3. Birks Pavoskas Galena.

Limit Bitch

1. Lock Pikkuihme Tahtipoly. Well made with good overall proportions. Sound on the move and well balanced. Good head type and neck, strong shoulders and straight front. Good rib and topline which she held on the move, well angled rear with good muscle which gave her plenty of drive.
2. Woolard Infindigo Onnekaskielo. Good head with well placed ears. Good neck and shoulders and straight front. Well laid shoulders and correct topline. Well made rear with good angles. Moved out well.
3. Allison Glenchess Kuuma Hiekka of Oberitz.

1. Graystone Ch Morval Helina Keiju. Lovely profile both on the stand and on the move. Well balanced and proportioned. Lovely head type with well placed ears and eyes, correct bite and good muzzle. Strong neck and shoulders, straight front and good forechest. Strong straight topline which was held on the move. Well angled rear with plenty of muscle. On the move is where she really shines, effortless easy gait. BB & Res BIS
2. Anderson & Nardone Ch Limishka Kareitar JW. Correct head type with a good expression. Good shoulders and front with good forechest. Good topline and loin, well made rear with good angles and muscle. Moved out well with drive.

Strong neck leading to correct shoulders, straight front and good forechest, correct rib and strong straight topline. Well made rear well good angles and muscle. Moved with an easy gait. BVB & BVIS
